A former hospitality professional, this Ottawa-based Indigenous artisan's ancestors were long time Hudson Bay Company employees dating back to as far as the early 1800’s and working on Lake Abitibi in Northern Eastern Ontario. Their second cousin is a Medicine Woman and her son is the current Chief of Wahgoshig First Nation located in near Matheson Ontario.
All of the materials used by the artisan for their products are sustain-ably sourced and come from mother earth.
These 2" x 8" bookmarks are made from locally sourced deer leather.
